Samutsakhon Wittayalai School, the secondary school located in Mahachai Sub-district, Mueang District, Samutsakhon Province, is looking for 3 qualified and enthusiastic foreigner teachers. The detail are as follows:

1. Job Title and Descriptions (3 foreign teachers)
1.1 Job Title:   1 foreign teacher (teaching English courses)
Job Descriptions:
1) To teach English for the secondary school students mainly focusing on English for communication skills.
2) To have a dedicated positive and flexible attitude towards students and colleagues
3) To be willing to accept and help school for school extra works.
4) The salary range: 25,000 - 40,000 baht per month (depending on experience) The applicants must be responsible for submitting his or her own the social security fund payment and the annual tax payment.
5) Contract period: May 1^st, 2024 - March 31^st, 2025 (an 11-month contract)

1.2 Job Title: 1 foreign teacher (teaching Sciences course and English courses)
Job Descriptions:
1) The applicants must hold minimum bachelor’s degree or higher in Sciences or teaching Sciences field from the institutes accepted by the Teacher Council of Thailand.
2) To teach English for the secondary school students mainly focusing on English for communication skills.
3) To have a dedicated positive and flexible attitude towards students and colleagues
4) To be willing to accept and help school for school extra works.
5) The salary range: 30,000 - 40,000 baht per month (depending on experience) The applicants must be responsible for submitting his or her own the social security fund payment and the annual tax payment.
6) Contract period: May 1^st, 2024 - March 31^st, 2025 (an 11-month contract)

1.3 Job Title: 1 foreign teacher (teaching Mathematics course and English courses)
Job Descriptions:
1)    The applicants must hold minimum bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or teaching Mathematics field from the institutes accepted by the Teacher Council of Thailand.
2)    To teach English for the secondary school students mainly focusing on English for communication skills.
3)     To have a dedicated positive and flexible attitude towards students and colleagues
4)    To be willing to accept and help school for school extra works.
5)    The salary range: 30,000 - 40,000 baht per month (depending on experience) The applicants must be responsible for submitting his or her own the social security fund payment and the annual tax payment.
6)    Contract period: May 1^st, 2024 - March 31^st, 2025 (an 11-month contract)

2. Qualifications
2.1 Male/Female aged 25 – 55 years old.
2.2 The applicants must hold minimum bachelor’s degree or higher from the institutes accepted by the Teacher Council of Thailand.
2.3 The applicants are required to be able to provide the variety of learning emphasizing in terms of English for communication skills, prepare the experience through the authentic learning, able to design the teaching materials, lesson plans, exercises, assignments and be able to evaluate students according to the school policy.
2.4 The applicants are required to teach at least 22 hours a week for students in lower secondary educational level and upper secondary educational level.
2.5 Understand Thai culture and school values.
2.6 The applicants should be native speakers from 5 countries, including the United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand or foreigners who use English as a second language such as Africa, Netherland, Sweden, Ireland, France and Philippines.
2.7 In case of foreigners who use English as a second language, have experienced studying in a country using English as a main language, the applicants are required to have a certificate of training in ELT, TESL, or TEFL or related fields at least 15 hours or evidence indicating knowledge of English or teaching English from reliable institutions as follows: TOEFL score at least 550 or IELTS score at least 5.5 or TOEIC score at least 650
2.8 The applicants can work and coordinate with Thai teachers from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during weekdays and occasionally weekends.
2.9 The applicants must follow the school policies and management.
2.10 The applicants can be a lecturer that can give any recommendations for Thai teachers and colleagues in the school.
2.11 The applicants are willing to be observed during classes for teaching assessment.

3. Required Documents
The applicants are able to approve and consider the detail of job descriptions and qualifications through the school website (www.sksc.ac.th) and submit the application documents to [email protected].
3.1 An employment application paper or Curriculum Vitae (CV) / Resume
3.2 An official photograph (2x3 inches without hat and black glasses)
3.3 A copy of degree certificate
3.4 A copy of transcript record
3.5 A copy of passport and visa
3.6 A copy of foreign professional teaching license or a copy of teaching permit without Foreign professional teaching license (if any).
3.7 A copy of ELT / TEFL or TESL training or the academic seminar certificate or a copy of English proficiency test result; TOEIC, TOEFL or IELTS (if any). Test results must not be more than two years old.

4. Recruitment Schedule
4.1 Opens for application                                                     March 25^th - April 2^nd, 2024

4.2 Notification of eligible applicants April 4^th, 2024
4.3 Teaching demonstration and interviewing                     April 5^th- 12^th, 2024
4.4 Notification of successful applicants                             Within April 26^th, 2024

5. Other conditions
The school offers an 11-month contract (from May 1^st, 2024 - March 31^st, 2025) and the successful applicants must be responsible for obtaining his or her own housing, visa, work permit, medical certificate, social security fund, contract tax, annual tax, and the teacher license payment. The successful applicants start to work as the foreigner teachers at Samutsakhon Wittayalai School on May 1^st, 2024
